After the success of the first series of operations with Rob Surgical’s Bitrack robot at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona, both institutions are expanding their collaboration agreement in the field of Urology.
A new study is being initiated in which a series of interventions will be carried out with living patients, carrying out not only partial nephrectomies, but also radical ones. This expands the scope of clinical studies of the Bitrack surgical robot and collects even more data from real patients.
The achievement of these operations allows us to continue advancing and expanding the scope of use of our robot, aiming to cover all the needs of Urology and extend its use to other specialties.
The first surgeries of this new study are already being carried out at the Hospital Clínic, led by surgeons Dr. Lluís Peri and Dra. Mireia Musquera, specialists from the Urology Service led by Dr. Antonio Alcaraz.
This new advance in the alliance between Rob Surgical and the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona promotes the progress and establishment of precision surgery in the field of Urology. It is an achievement that will allow all patients in this area to benefit from the advantages of precision surgery.
